First day Iowans can mail a request to their County Auditor to receive an Absentee Ballot by mail starting .

The original, signed request form must be received in your county auditor’s office by 5:00 p.m. on May 18th, 2026.
After receiving your request form, the county auditor will mail you a ballot.

REQUEST YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT TODAY
You can call the Emmet County Auditor’s office at 712-362-4261 and ask them to mail you an ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM or you can print an ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM.
After receiving your request form, the county auditor will mail you a ballot.
